This composition of shadows strikes our house in the late afternoons of autumn. The wall texture becomes more noticeable and reveals the sandy paths of the hand-applied stucco. Sunlight – both upon and inside a building – creates vivid, sparkling memories of a place that inform our sense of time. These memories influence the emotions that attach us to a place.
